The major upgrade to the OCRG weather station equipment, located on
Mt. Hebo at the MDM mainpoint site, has been completed on schedule
and within budget. THANK YOU for your support of this much needed
project. The more reliable
Mt. Hebo, OR weather data from this just completed
upgrade is now available for your use.
Data can be accessed either on the APRS packet network or
on the Internet. Weather station identification
on APRS is HEBOWX. Data is updated every five minutes
and is available on a 24/7 basis.
Additional planned projects for this winter include a possible live video
snow depth measurement system.
